■ Talk: 'Infinite Reality: The Dawn of the Virtual Revolution'

Jeremy Bailenson, associate professor of communication at Stanford University, gives a free talk tonight (July 28) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on virtual reality, avatars and other immersive digital technology. ■ Film: 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'

A free outdoor showing of the 1989 movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" is planned for tonight (July 28) at sunset -- around 8:30 p.m. -- on Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. The film series runs weekly through Oct. 6. Go to redwoodcity.org.
