What: Re-opening of Downtown Library

When: Saturday, July 16, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: 270 Forest Ave.

What: Ribbon cutting, live music, fire engine visit. Performers include Magic Mike, Cowgirl Karen Quest, Luce Puppet Show, Happy Birds, juggler Thomas Truman John, and Mayor Sid Espinosa's Storytime. Refreshments donated by local restaurants.

Traffic impact: Forest Avenue will be closed between Ramona and Bryant streets during the event
