■ Music: St. Lawrence String Quartet

Today (June 27) at 12:15 p.m. the St. Lawrence String Quartet gives a free lunchtime concert at Stanford University's Dinkelspiel Auditorium with pianist Stephen Prutsman and cellist Suren Bagratuni. The program will include music by Haydn and Shostakovich. Call 650-723-2720 or go to events.stanford.edu.

■ Kids: 'Introduction to Irish Dance'

The Atherton Library at 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane is hosting the dancers from the Greene Academy of Irish Dance, who will present a brief show and an introductory lesson for children ages 4 and up. The free event is today (Jun 27) from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Call 650-328-2422 or go to smcl.org.
