■ Film: 'The Fighter'

The Oscar-winning 2010 film "The Fighter" (rated R) will be shown today (June 10) at 7 p.m. at Atherton Library, 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane, Atherton. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, visit Atherton Library.

■ MFA Documentary Spring Film Screening

Eight short films by first-year students in the Stanford MFA Program in Documentary Film and Video will be screened today (June 10) at 7:30 p.m. at Annenberg Auditorium, 435 Lasuen Mall, Stanford. A Q&A with the filmmakers and reception will follow. For more information, visit Stanford events.
