■ Joe Simitian Sidewalk Office Hours

State Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, is holding sidewalk office hours for constituents to bring questions, ideas and solutions regarding state legislative issues that affect their community Saturday (June 11) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Palo Alto Farmers Market, Hamilton Avenue and Gilman Street, Palo Alto. ■ Foothill Symphonic Winds

The 65-member Foothill Symphonic Winds, under the direction of David B. Adams, presents its spring band concert featuring works by Copland, Ives, Bach, Verdi and Malcolm Arnold Sunday (June 12) at 3:30 p.m. at Cubberley Theatre, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
