■ Kristi Yamaguchi at Stanford Shopping Center

Figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and Sprinkles Cupcakes founder Candace Nelson will be appearing today (June 3) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sprinkles Cupcakes, 393 Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto. ■ St. Pius Festival

The St. Pius Festival will feature rides, games, arts and crafts, entertainment and food today (June 3) from 6 to 10 p.m at St. Pius Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City. The festival continues June 4-5. For more information, visit St. Pius Festival.

■ Silicon Valley Symphony

Silicon Valley Symphony will perform works of Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams, Rossini and Prokofiev today (June 3) at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 330 Ravenswood Ave., Menlo Park. Tickets are $15-20. For more information, visit Silicon Valley Symphony.
