Team finals highlight week's schedule at NCAA tennis

 

The team champions will be crowned early while the individual champions will wrap things up to highlight the second week of the 2011 NCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships at Stanford University.

TUESDAY, MAY 24

Men's and Women's Team Championship Matches

12 p.m. -- Men's final (Taube Stadium)

4 p.m. -- Women's final (Taube Stadium)

Men's and Women's Singles/Doubles Welcome Brunch, ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Awards Ceremony

Student-athletes and coaches on the men's and women's side participating in the individual portion of this year's NCAA Championships will gather for a pre-tournament welcome banquet to be held at McCaw Hall in the Alumni Center. At this time, the ITA will also present its national awards.

Live Music and VIP Tent

Live music (Keith Williams - Bluegrass) from 3:30-5:30 p.m. along the main entrance walkway along Campus Drive, next to the Track Heritage pillars. The VIP Tent is open from 3-7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 25

Men's and Women's Singles First Round

All matches start at 10 a.m., to be played at both Taube Stadium and Taube South.

ITA Men's Hall of Fame Reunion Luncheon

Open to inductees and former ITA Hall of Fame members, this event will be held from 12-2 p.m. at McCaw Hall in the Alumni Center. This event is closed to the public.

Live Music and VIP Tent

Live music (Brad Bivens - Pop, Jazz and Latin guitar) from 4:30-7 p.m. at McCaw Hall. The VIP Tent is open from 3-7 p.m.

ITA Men's Hall of Fame Dinner

The event will be held at McCaw Hall in the Alumni Center, with a reception getting underway at 6 p.m. and dinner to follow at 7 p.m.

THURSDAY, MAY 26

Men's and Women's Singles Second Round

Men's and Women's Doubles First Round

All matches start at 10 a.m., to be played at Taube Stadium and Taube South (across the street).

Live Music and VIP Tent

Live music (Dave Prieto Duo - Urban Jazz) from 4-6 p.m. along the main entrance walkway along Campus Drive, next to the Track Heritage pillars. The VIP Tent located is open from 4-7 p.m.

FRIDAY, MAY 27

Men's and Women's Singles Round of 16

Men's and Women's Doubles Round of 16

All matches start at 10 a.m., to be played at Taube Stadium and Taube South.

Live Music and VIP Tent

Live music (Fred McCarty - Acoustic Americana, roots and country) from 4-6 p.m. at along the main entrance walkway along Campus Drive, next to the Track Heritage pillars. The VIP Tent is open from 4-7 p.m.

SATURDAY, MAY 28

Men's and Women's Singles Quarterfinals

Men's and Women's Doubles Quarterfinals

All matches start at 12 p.m., to be played at Taube Stadium and Taube South.

VIP Tent

The VIP Tent is open from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

SUNDAY, MAY 29

Men's and Women's Singles Semifinals

Men's and Women's Doubles Semifinals

All matches start at noon.

The VIP Tent is open from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

MONDAY, MAY 30

Men's and Women's Doubles Championship Matches

Both matches start at 12 p.m. and will be played at Taube Stadium.

Men's and Women's Singles Championship Matches

Both matches start at 2 p.m. and will be played at Taube Stadium.

VIP Tent

The VIP Tent is open from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
