Menlo Park: Man robbed in parked car

Police arrest two suspects

Two men allegedly robbed an 18-year-old man who was sitting in his car at Grayson Court and Arnold Way around 7:30 p.m. on Friday (May 20). One suspect punched him in the ear, while the other punched his face before stealing a wallet and cellphone.

The duo fled in a 2006 Volvo, but didn't get very far. Based on the victim's description, Menlo Park police arrested Samson Ahokava, 19, and Navandeep Kang, 18, for robbery, assault and conspiracy to commit a crime.

I wonder how the victim was able to contact the police so quickly if they stole his cell phone. Maybe he went to a nearby house.

The update on The Almanac said it was a marijuana deal gone wrong - robbery. How not fun would that be in your neighborhood?

I think all this is nonsense. Samson is my cousin and this doesn't sound like him at all.. The "deal" is a little suspicious to me..
