Singer-songwriter and actor Steve Earle gives an author talk on his book "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive," a novel about a man living with the ghost of Hank Williams. The event is tomorrow (May 20) at 7 p.m. at Kepler's Books, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park. ■ Music: QuinTango

Tomorrow (May 20) at 8 p.m., the touring quintet QuinTango -- two violins and a cello, bass and piano -- gives a concert of tango music, accompanied by tango dancers. The concert is at Stanford's Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Admission is $30 general and $10 for Stanford students, with $50 for premium seating. Call 650-723-2720 or go to events.stanford.edu.
