Officers are investigating a shooting in East Palo Alto that left at least one man wounded Tuesday night (May 10), police said.

Officers responded to Shotspotter activity in the 1000 block of Alberni Street at around 9 p.m. but could not find any evidence of a shooting, police said. Police then responded to reports of a hit-and-run near Garden Street and Addison Avenue and found an abandoned vehicle with bullet holes and blood.

Officers discovered a 20-year-old East Palo Alto man nearby suffering from a superficial gunshot wound to his hand, police said. The man was taken to a hospital. He did not give police information regarding the circumstances surrounding his injury.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call police at 650-321-1112, leave a voice or text message at 650-409-6792, or report it online at www.ci.east-palo-alto.ca.us.

  1. General Petraeus and his supporters in the DoD have called for a COIN initiative in Mexico

    makes very good sense

We are wasting $ Billions in handout-outs to parasites like AfPak, Israel and Egypt when our main existential threats are at home and in the narco-corrupt state on our southern border and in the poverty and crime in our own nation.

We need to put American fundamental interests first and fix our economic, education and crime problems rather than handing out $ billions to leeches in corrupt alien states in the MENA.

  2. Really, SHaron???
Sharon is completely off topic again with her rantings against the middle east nations. SHe has an agenda against Israel and it is obvious from her trolling of threads and posting of her unproven allegations.
Why is the Weekly providing her a forum?

  3. The Shotspotter technology is used in Iraq and AfPak–apparently it was developed at SRI.

    Any updates on this shooting?

    Thanks

  4. Do you really care, sharon? The link you provided yesterday makes no mention of general petraeus–it is from some crackpot. Not the first time you have falsely used general petraeus’ name in your posts.

  5. The reality–
