■ Music: Trombone Choir Spring Concert

The Gordon Stewart Peninsula Trombone Choir presents its spring concert Saturday (April 16) at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 4111 Alma St., Palo Alto. ■ Earth Day on the Bay

The Marine Science Institute hosts its "Earth Day on the Bay" event Saturday (April 16) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Marine Science Institute, 500 Discovery Parkway, Redwood City. Music, arts and crafts, aquarium animals and more will be featured. For more information, visit Marine Science Institute.

■ TV series: 'Faces of Local Heroes'

Highlights of interviews with The Midpeninsula Community Media Center's "Local Heroes" award winners will be aired Sunday (April 17) at 8 p.m. on Palo Alto cable channel 30. Full interviews with each winner will also be broadcast throughout the week. For more information, visit The Media Center.
