■ Children's Theatre: 'Beauty and the Beast'

The Palo Alto Children's Theatre presents a production of "Beauty and the Beast" for kids ages 3 to 6 on Saturday (March 26) at 10 a.m. and noon. The performances are in the Black Box Theatre inside the Magic Castle, at 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children. ■ Music: Peninsula Symphonic Band

"The American Red Cross March" and selections from the musical "Show Boat" are among the music on the 3 p.m. program on Sunday (March 27) when the Peninsula Symphonic Band performs. The free concert is at Spangenberg Theatre, 780 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto. Call 408-910-1830 or go to psbpaloalto.com.

■ Music: Margaret and Victor

The bluegrass duo of Victor Skidanenko and Margaret Green is set to perform at noon on Sunday (March 27) at Red Rock Coffee, 201 Castro St., Mountain View. The show is free. Both are teachers: Skidanenko teaches guitar, mandolin, banjo and voice, while Green has students in violin and fiddle. Call 650-967-4473 or go to wix.com.
