■ Student Symposium: 'Film Sound'

Film Studies 101 will present an informal symposium where students will read excerpts from their work on sound and cinema tomorrow (March 15) at 7 p.m. at Cummings Art Building, 435 Lasuen Mall, Stanford. Refreshments will be served. For more information, visit Stanford Events.

■ Presentation: Dr. Lisa Chu

Dr. Lisa Chu will share her personal story of recovery from work addiction and how she discovered the healing power of music tomorrow (March 15) at 2 p.m. at Little House, 800 Middle Ave., Menlo Park. ■ Talk: 'Gardening Under Oaks'
