■ Film: 'Carbon Nation'

A new documentary about climate-change solutions, "Carbon Nation," will be screened today (Feb. 28) at 7 p.m. at Trinity Church, 330 Ravenswood Ave., Menlo Park. The film's director, Peter Byck, will answer live questions via Skype after the screening. For more information, visit Trinity Church.

Writer Shirley Geok-Lin Lim will read from her new book of poems, "Walking Backwards," and her memoir, "Among the White Moon Faces," today (Feb. 28) at 5:15 p.m. at The Terrace Room, 450 Serra Mall, Building 460, Stanford. For more information, visit American Studies Program.
