Water damage forces closure of Guild Theatre

Menlo Park movie house expected to reopen Feb. 25

The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park will be closed until further notice due to water damage from recent rain storms, theater representative Rachael Wordhouse-Dykema announced Friday (Feb. 18).

Wordhouse-Dykema said clean-up would take at least a week but that the theater would likely reopen by next Friday (Feb. 25).

A screening of the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that had been scheduled for Saturday night (Feb. 19) at the Guild will instead be shown Saturday at midnight at the Guild's sister theater, The Aquarius, in downtown Palo Alto.
