PUBLIC AGENDA: Library Advisory Commission

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings this week

PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ... The commission plans to discuss 488 University Ave., a request by Chris Fowler on behalf of University President Associates LLC and AT&T for addition of two wireless fidelity antennas mounted to the front faƁade of the Hotel President. The commission also plans to discuss the city's update of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

INFRASTRUCTURE BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE ... The board plans to discuss the city's infrastructure backlog and possible ways to pay for the items on the list. The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Lucie Stern Community Room (1305 Middlefield Road).

LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMISSION ... The commission plans to elect a chair and a vice chair, discuss the library system's book capacity and usage policy for meeting rooms at local libraries. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
