■ Concert: Jewish Songwriters of Broadway

An evening featuring Broadway music from the likes of Rogers and Hammerstein, George Gershwin and more will be performed Saturday (Jan. 22) at 8 p.m. at the Albert and Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Tickets are $20-$30. For more information, visit Palo Alto JCC.

■ Music: A Bach Celebration

The California Bach Society celebrates its 40th anniversary season with an all-Bach program of arias, duets and choruses Sunday (Jan. 23) at 4 p.m. at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley Ave., Palo Alto. Tickets are $35. For more information, visit Cal Bach.
