Tonight (Jan. 11) at 7 p.m. Claire Dederer does her best forward-facing-author pose as she gives a free talk about her book "Poser: My Life in Twenty-Three Yoga Poses." ■ Film lecture: Mark Berger

"Listening to Film Sound: Screening, Lecture and Q&A with Mark Berger" is the title of tonight's (Jan. 11) free 7 p.m. event at Stanford University's Cubberley Auditorium. Berger is an Academy Award-winning supervising rerecording sound mixer who has worked on films including "Apocalypse Now" and "The Right Stuff."
