Today's events (Dec. 27)

■ Family: Yoga for kids

Child's pose should come naturally to the students to the free drop-in kids' yoga class held today (Dec. 27) from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Atherton Library, 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane. The interestingly named instructor Surfer Mike teaches the all-ages class. Students are asked to bring a parent or other guardian, and a towel or mat. Call 650-328-2422 or go to smcl.org.

■ Art: 'East Meets West'

An exhibition called "East Meets West: The Opening of the Orient" is continuing at Lyons Ltd. Antique Prints, up through Jan. 15. Graphics, maps and other prints are on display at #10 Town & Country Village, 855 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. They depict such events as Admiral Perry's expedition to the Far East in the 1800s. Call 650-325-9010 or go to lyonsltd.com.
