A preview of Palo Alto government meetings this week

PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ... The commission plans to continue discussing its policy regarding contact with development applicants in advance of public hearings. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.). View the agenda

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD ... The board plans to hold a preliminary review for 3000 Hanover St., an addition to an existing building at the Hewlett Packard campus. The meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

PUBLIC ART COMMISSION ... The commission plans to hold a special meeting to discuss design direction for the Mitchell Park bollards, which will be designed by Brad Oldham; and to discuss the relocation of the Charles Ginnever sculpture from Mountain View to Palo Alto. The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
