■ Author: Apolo Ohno

U.S. Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno signs copies of his book "Zero Regrets: Be Greater Than Yesterday" starting at 8 p.m. tonight (Nov. 29) at Books Inc., 301 Castro St., Mountain View. The book is selling for $26. For more information, go to booksinc.net.

■ Art: Rajiv Khilnani

Rajiv Khilnani is exhibiting his abstract acrylic paintings on canvas in the lobby of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts at 500 Castro St. through Dec. 13. The lobby is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1, and one hour before each public performance. Khilnani had his first major show in an art gallery in Karachi, and has shown closer to home in such venues as the Triton Museum in Santa Clara and Palo Alto's Pacific Art League.
