Longtime Palo Alto resident Sandra Park gives a free talk on her book “If You Live in a Small House” at 7 p.m. tonight (Nov. 18). The event is at Books Inc. at 74 Town & Country Village in Palo Alto. Audience members can join in on their iPhones and iPads when the Stanford Mobile Phone Orchestra gives a free concert from 7 to 7:50 p.m. tonight (Nov. 18) on campus at the CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music) Stage. Then, the free CCRMA fall concert takes place all throughout The Knoll building where CCRMA is based, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. The theme of the fall concert is “Cagean Musicircus”; inspired by the composer John Cage, the event will have performances and sound installations throughout the building.
