■ Theater: 'The Turn of the Screw'

Tomorrow (Nov. 5) at 8 p.m., Dragon Productions opens "The Turn of the Screw," adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the story by Henry James. The ghost-story show runs through Nov. 28 at 535 Alma St. in downtown Palo Alto, starring Katie Anderson and George Psarras. Tickets are $25 general and $20 for seniors and students on opening night, and $20/$16 all other performances, which are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sundays. ■ Dance: 'Zero Hour'

Hip-hop dance and ballet blend with painting, poetry and tai chi at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow (Nov. 5) and Saturday (Nov. 6) in "Zero Hour," a work performed by the Bay Area group Philein/Ziru Productions and four Chinese artists. The work features vignettes from a young Chinese mother coming to the United States in 1975. The performances are at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St. Tickets are $22 general, $14 for seniors and students, and $12 for children.
