Major-injury crash closes El Camino Real

 

Atherton police are investigating a major injury accident on southbound El Camino Real in Atherton today.

Southbound El Camino Real between Atherton Avenue and Watkins Avenue in Atherton is closed, police report.

At this time there is no estimate on when the roadway will be reopened. Police advice drivers to use alternate routes.

This happened at like 11:30 and it took two hours to put it here? Would have been nice to know having traveled in that area around lunch time.

It's open again... about an hour ago.
