If and when Palo Alto High grad Jeremy Lin takes the floor for the Golden State Warriors in his first NBA game, he may face less pressure than what he did Monday when the team hosted its annual Media Day. Lin, who has yet to play in his first pro game, took part in the activities that included interviews and a photo shoot.
Lin is one of 19 players on the Warriors' roster for training camp, which opened on Tuesday at the team's practice facility in downtown Oakland.
The recently signed forwards Jeff Adrien, Vernon Goodridge and James Mays, as well as guards Cheyne Gadson and Aaron Miles, to contracts, the team announced Monday.
The Warriors will open their preseason schedule at Oracle Arena in Oakland against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, October 8. Golden State's season opener will be Oct. 27 at home against the Houston Rockets.
