■ Talk: Juan Andres Fontaine

Juan Andres Fontaine, Chile's minister of economy, will give a free public talk today (Sept. 22) at 4:30 p.m. at Stanford University's NVIDIA Auditorium at the Huang Engineering Center, 475 Via Ortega. ■ Community: Wednesday Farmers Market

Today (Sept. 22) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Wednesday Farmers Market happens at Lytton Plaza at the corner of University Avenue and Emerson Street in downtown Palo Alto.
