■ Music: Anna Gilbert

Tonight (Aug. 13) at 8 p.m., Portland singer-songwriter Anna Gilbert will perform at Red Rock Coffee, 201 Castro St., Mountain View. Gilbert names Corinne Bailey Rae and Sarah McLachlan as two of her inspirations, and describes her style as "mellow, chill and contemplative." The concert is free. ■ Movie: "Over the Hedge"

Tonight (Aug. 13), Mountain View's free summer outdoor movie series continues with the 2006 animated movie "Over the Hedge" in Rengstorff Park, located on the corner of S. Rengstorff and Crisanto avenues in Mountain View. The family comedy features the voice of Bruce Willis as a raccoon who teaches other suburban animals how to steal food from humans. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available for purchase, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnics. Call 650-903-6410 or go to mountainview.gov.
