• Film: 'WALL-E'

The Cantor Arts Center hosts a free outdoor showing of the 2008 animated film "WALL-E" tonight (July 30) at 8:30 p.m. The screening is on the South Lawn at the Stanford University museum. Boxed dinners will be on sale at the museum's Cool Cafe until 8 p.m., and Cantor Center members get a free bag of popcorn. Go to museum.stanford.edu.

• Music: Hot For Teacher

Tonight (July 30) from 6 to 8 p.m., the Van Halen tribute band Hot For Teacher gives a free outdoor concert on Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. The summer Music on the Square series continues weekly through Oct. 8. Go to redwoodcity.org.
