A field of 14 Palo Alto residents seek election to the City Council

In order for all area residents to have important local information on the coronavirus health emergency, Palo Alto Online has lifted its pay meter and is providing unlimited access to its website. Fourteen candidates -- including 13 newcomers and one political veteran -- will be jostling for five seats on the City Council on Nov. 3. Video interviews with the 14 candidates -- ranging in length from three to 10 minutes -- are now available to watch online.
