PUBLIC AGENDA: City Council, Destination Palo Alto

PALO ALTO CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to discuss approval of the Palo Alto Baylands Master Plan 2008; a Library Department update on progress of audit of library operations; agreements between the City of Palo Alto, the San Mateo County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Palo Alto Weekly for Destination Palo Alto visitorship services, website update and revisions, visitor guide and associated services; a Policy and Services Committee recommendation to implement the "Open City Hall" online service; adoption of a resolution opposing Measure B (BART sales tax); and a colleague's memo from Mayor Klein and Council Member Kishimoto requesting adoption of a resolution supporting Proposition 1A (high-speed rail). The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
