This Sunday, Dec. 6th, from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, the Shoebox Project is hosting a wrapping party at the Eichler Swim and Tennis Club at 3539 Louis Road in Palo Alto and you are invited! Bring a shoebox (or two or three) filled with items to donate to a women’s shelter to brighten someone’s day during the holidays. Paper and ribbons are provided at the party for wrapping. Enjoy festive drinks and snacks while you wrap, and know that your box will be delivered to and enjoyed by someone who will appreciate the gifts and your generosity and care. Suggested items to fill your box include: socks, scarfs, personal care products, make up, nice pens and paper, hair accessories, gift cards, chocolate, gum and candies. Extra bulk items to donate to other boxes are very appreciated. Tweens and teens can be dropped off at the event. Please email [email protected] with questions.
