Happy Birthday Colin

Yesterday, I read a story about a little boy named Colin. He has special needs and doesn't fit in at school. It was heartbreaking to read that he didn't want a birthday party because he thought he didn't have any friends.

Colin's mother came up with a very sweet idea. She created a Facebook page that now has over 2 million likes. Colin has received birthday wishes from sorority girls, firefighters and people from across the world. Although some worry about how a special needs kid will react to such abstract friends, I hope Colin feels this love pouring in and knows that he has more support than he could have ever imagined. His birthday is March 9, so if you are touched by his story, I hope you take the time to wish Colin a happy birthday.
