So Much to Explore at Nealon Park

Uploaded: Dec 16, 2019
This afternoon our kids had a break from the constant countdown to Christmas. A good friend of ours suggested checking out the newly remodeled Nealon Park. What a treat! Spending the afternoon at Nealon was the perfect break from the holiday rush.

It’s hard to find a playground that is interesting for all 3 of our kids, but Nealon quite possibility accomplished that.

There were benches to feed or hold a tired and hungry little one. And there were many play structures all over the playground that were perfect for toddlers.

It was so much fun to watch our older kids run from one structure to the next. Our older kids quickly found out that this park has tons of climbing equipment. And two big perks of the old playground were still there - a long twisty slide and many swings.

If you haven’t checked out the newly remodeled Nealon Park yet, here is a video posted last year giving a peek at the nature-themed playground. As wonderful as the holidays are, I greatly needed an afternoon off from Christmas preparation. And, after seeing so many happy kids and adults at Nealon today, it was clear they enjoyed the break too.
Democracy.
What is it worth to you?

I remember that being a wonderful park to bring my kids to, when they were little. We enjoyed Burgess Park too.

Mary- Thanks for commenting! Yes, Burgess is a great park. It looks like Burgess might also get renovated https://www.almanacnews.com/news/2019/10/22/council-approves-long-term-plan-to-revamp-city-parks
