Coupa Cafe opens 10th location in downtown Redwood City

Uploaded: Aug 29, 2019
The latest outpost of mini local coffee empire Coupa Cafe is now open in downtown Redwood City.

Coupa's 10th cafe is located at 695 Main St., in the ground floor of the new Marston Building apartment complex.

Beyond Coupa's popular Venezuelan coffee and espresso, tea and other drinks, the Redwood City location serves a breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus beer and wine. The cafe is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Coupa got its start in Palo Alto 15 years ago and has a heavy presence on the Stanford University campus but is starting to expand throughout the Peninsula. Coupa expanded to Los Altos in late 2018.

My wife and I had the opportunity to try this soon after it opened. My wife said the coffee was really good. I'm more a "I don't care how it tastes as long as there's caffeine in it" kind of guy. (Funny, if you substitute "alcohol" in place of "caffeine" that also is an accurate statement.)
