Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Happy first legal 420 in California, this Friday, April 20th. It’s definitely a new way to Food Party!, right? In my dreams this article was going to be an edibles review. Something like The Bay’s Best Brownies, or Gummy Bear vs. Chocolate Bar – Which Works Better? But in reality, my experience with ingestives hasn’t been so great. It’s a product category in progress – they don’t yet understand the balance between sugar, fat, salt and zip. Let us know if you’ve had better luck.

But hey, where better to do a little research than San Francisco? We will be Food Partying! this Friday in Golden Gate Park, high up on Hippie Hill, which has been celebrating this infamous day for many a-bad-moon arising. This year’s event promises to be a biggie, and I’m hoping to see a lot of innovative food products while there.

We’ll be food reporting via Facebook Live in the afternoon. Not sure the time yet but check back here between 1 – 4PM.

If you prefer to join the food festivities and merry mayhem for yourself, here’s 420 event info for San Francisco and San Jose.
