Rustic House Oyster Bar and Grill opens in Los Altos

Uploaded: Jan 15, 2018
A San Carlos seafood restaurant has opened a second outpost in downtown Los Altos.

Rustic House Oyster Bar and Grill held a soft opening this past weekend at 295 Main St., manager Jerry Beltramo said.

The space formerly housed Turn Bar and Grill, which abruptly closed in August. The owner said at the time the closure was temporary, but the restaurant never reopened.

Seafood is the main event at Rustic House, with dishes from raw and grilled oysters to fish tacos, a lobster roll, cioppino and more, per a sample dinner menu online.

For those who are ocean-averse, there's also a burger and will be "artisan pizzas" and vegetarian options, according to the Rustic House website.

The restaurant serves cocktails, beer and wine.

Rustic House, which opened in San Carlos 2015, is sister restaurant to The Office and 3 Pigs in San Carlos.
