Alejandro

Hi my name is Alejandro. I am a pint-sized lover, all 4 pounds of me!! I am guaranteed to warm your heart and keep you entertained for hours! I have excellent house manners, sleep through the night, and am crate and house trained!! I ride well in the car, walk great on leash, and am a great office dog. I am currently in a foster home where I am waiting for my perfect family to take me home!!

Nibbler

Hi there, I'm Nibbler. I am a big boy kitty looking for my forever home and family. I might seem a little shy when you first meet me, but as soon as you pet me you will see that I warm up in no time. I just can't get enough pets on my head, neck, back, belly...actually I like to be pet pretty much all over! I also like to play and will show you how quick I can move for such a big guy if you bring out a wand toy!

Buster

Hi, my name is Buster. I am an adorable little guy who wants nothing more than to be held! If I could be in someone's lap all day, I would be ecstatic! I only weigh 4.6 pounds and am very easy to carry around and take everywhere! If you want a purse dog, lap warmer, or an easygoing office companion, I'm your man!

Armani

Hi there, I'm Armani. I just flew into the humane society and man are my paws tired! Two things you should know about me are I'm a big boy who needs regular brushing and will purr non-stop in your arms when held. I'm ready to find my new family, so come down, see me, and ask my Adoption Counselor friends to meet me.

Wendy

Hi there! I am Wendy, a sweet and loveable girl. I love to play, walk, and snuggle. So if you have room in your heart and home for a wonderful canine companion, ask to meet me today!

Bubbles

Hello, I'm Bubbles. I'm a beautiful 7-year-old girl who is looking for a forever loving home. Some very nice people found me outside in Sunnyvale and brought me to HSSV. I needed a lot of TLC when they found me. While I've been here my adoption counselors have learned that I love to play with wand toys. They make me turn into a kitten again. I also don't mind gentle pets and a short brushing session. I also don't mind other cats as long as they are more on the relaxed side.

Tiger Lily

Hi, I have lived in a home with other dogs before. I love large or small dogs. I would love to have another friendly and tolerant canine companion because sometimes I do get very excited, and I will forget some of my manners. I have an abundance of energy and would love to find a family who can keep up with me. I do get pretty frustrated when I am on a leash and that I see another dog because I want to get to the dog. I would love for a family to help me overcome this frustration. If you have children aged late elementary and older, I would love to meet them. I might like them.

Zoey

Hi! I'm new here. Everyone's still getting to know me. Once they do, you'll get to learn all kinds of information about me.

Spike

Hi there! I am Spike, a scruffy looking guy who can't wait for my pup makeover, complete with my forever family! I walk ever so politely on leash. I enjoy yummy treats. And I enjoy receiving chest scratches. I am currently sharing a foster home with another dog that I am having a blast with. I am much more confident when I am around a confident dog, so am seeking a home that already has a dog to teach me the ropes help me feel brave!!! I can tend to be a bit shy when first meeting new people. So if you are looking for a dog with lots of pooch potential, contact my social secretary Casaundra

Cleo

Cleo's the name, lounging's my game. I may have eaten one too many treats in my past, but that just means there's a lot more of me to love! I am simply bursting at the seams with love to give -- head butts, cheek rubs, maybe even a purr or two if you're lucky! I'm looking for my one true love, someone who can motivate me to shed these extra few pounds, but who won't mind taking a break to cuddle on the couch every once in awhile. I adore my humans so much that the thought of sharing them with other felines is completely out of the question. I mean, why would I want you to pay attention to anyone other than me? I need to know we are exclusive. I don't think that's too much to ask, do you? Wonderful! Then what's stopping you from coming down for a first date? I promise I'll make it worth your while, sweetheart.
Community.
What is it worth to you?

I wish I could adopt them all. May they find wonderful forever homes.

And I think their "talking" is pretty damn cute. Marketing is important. A wise guy dog or sophisticated cat might catch a human's attention and find a home. I remember recently when a shelter dog's bad qualities were used as selling points. Brilliant! Anything to find them homes.
