Ad Libs: Autumn in Palo Alto

Uploaded: Dec 1, 2011
Could this Palo Alto fall be more glorious? I don't know why the colors are so stunning this year, but I'm thankful. Even the crunched-up yellow leaves that are piling up on the sidewalks in today's wind look pretty.

Here's a photo I took last week. It feels like we're in Wisconsin, which is always a good thing.

Got beautiful Palo Alto autumn images you want to share? Feel free to send them my way at rwallace (at) paweekly.com. I'll write about them or swoon over them, or both.
Community.
What is it worth to you?

Yes, I have thought this year's leaves also particularly stunning. Maybe due to the bright sunlight? The trees on my street are just amazing.

It is a beautiful Autumn. I think part of the reason is that Palo Alto has more Ginko's and Japanese Elms, than it used to. Plus the
South PA trees have grown up over the decades.

I have been thinking the same thing, and I thought maybe I just didn't recall how beautiful they have been in the past, PLUS my persimmon tree that I planted 15 years ago is more gorgeous than ever. Driving home yesterday evening from downtown and Whole Foods I saw many Christmas lights and thought, "There is no better place to live than right here." Thanks for the opportunity to share this, Rebecca!

Maybe it's simply another tableau depicting how glorious it is to live in Palo Alto....nice photo, Ms. Wallace.
