PALO ALTO HISTORIC RESOURCES BOARD ... The board intends to discuss a proposal to demolish a cottage at 310 Addison Ave. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

PALO ALTO PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ... The commission intends to hold a no-vote study session on the housing needed for the Stanford Medical Center and Shopping Center expansions at 6 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., the commission intends to discuss the College Terrace Center, a proposed 63,000-square-foot three-story mixed-use project including a market, 14 residences and underground parking. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

PALO ALTO UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION … The commission intends to discuss the cost of gas and electricity, adopt a electric resource adequacy program, discuss customer survey results and eliminate residential discounts for water and storm-drain service to comply with state law. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Council Conference Room at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

PALO ALTO ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD ... The board intends to discuss some previously approved projects and tour the VMware property at 3401 Hillview Ave. at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
