City Council (Dec. 10)

Parking: The council voted unanimously to extend for a year a moratorium on parking exemptions for downtown developments. The council also voted 5-4 to request staff to return within 60 days with proposals to reduce the traffic impacts of two proposed downtown developments. Zoning: The council vote to rezone four parcels on the 400 block of Page Mill Road from single-family residential (R-1) to service commercial (CS). Yes: Burt, Espinosa, Holman, Klein, Scharff, Shepherd, Schmid, Yeh No: Price

Priorities: The committee discussed the council's priority-setting process and appointed a two-member subcommittee to work with the city manager on organizing proposed priorities for 2013 into categories. Yes: Unanimous

Planning and Transportation Commission (Dec. 12)
