Ralph Libby, a World War II veteran and Palo Alto reference librarian for more than 35 years, died June 17. He was 88. A community memorial gathering will be held Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at the Woman's Club of Palo Alto, 475 Homer Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the Palo Alto Historical Association for development of a Ralph Libby Family Collection.
