City Council (July 25)
Refuse: The council voted to add a $4.62 fee to residential refuse bills, effective Oct. 1. Yes: Burt, Espinosa, Holman, Klein, Price, Scharff, Shepherd, Yeh Absent: Schmid

Parks and Recreation Commission (July 26)
Water plant: The commission held a study session to discuss proposed landscaping around the Regional Water Quality Control Plant. Action: None
