REVISIT A GARDEN ... Ken Schoppet, the Los Altos-based landscape architect who designed Hannaston (which was on the recent Gamble Garden spring tour), will talk about the garden on Wednesday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to noon. Size of the class is limited because it will be held in a private garden, and the address of the garden will be given after registration. The class will deal with how existing plants were enlarged after the home was renovated, why specific plants were selected, and the color palette. Cost is $35 for nonmembers, $25 for members. FREE E-WASTE RECYCLING ... GreenCitizen, at 161 Homer Ave., Palo Alto, will accept almost any old electronics — including monitors, TV sets, desktop and laptop computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, cell phones, stereo equipment and microwave ovens — through May 31.
