GARDEN SUCCESS ... Patricia Evans, Natural Landscape Design, will teach a free workshop on "California Plants for Every Garden," on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lucie Stern Community Center Ballroom, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. FOOD FOR THE FUTURE ... Damon P.
