This week on Ad Libs...
A huge machine that methodically cooks real, genuine Thai food, complete with a spiciness dial and "Fish Sauce Quality Control" monitors? It's actually an artistic work that pokes fun at the quest for authenticity. Created by Stanford student Purin Phanichphant, this and other installations are up at the Thomas Welton Stanford Art Gallery in a show called "Off The Table."
