Memorial services

Bill Lane

Sunset Magazine publisher and community leader Bill Lane died July 31. A public memorial service for Lane will be held Friday, Oct. 1, at noon at the Stanford Memorial Church. All balconies will be open and a reception will follow at the Arrillaga Alumni Center on campus. Stanford's Bill Lane Center for the American West has also posted tributes to Lane on its website at west.stanford.edu.
