Bramlett struggles at U.S. Open

Bookmark and Share
Stanford senior Joseph Bramlett took a disastrous quadruple-bogey 8 on the par-4 13th hole and went on to shoot 44 on the back nine, finish with an 8-over 79 on his opening round at the U.S. Open golf championships on Thursday at Pebble Beach.

Bramlett started on the 10th hole and had four bogeys plus the quadruple bogey. He bounced back with birdies on the sixth and seventh, but bogeyed the ninth for an even-par 35 to finish his round.
