WINE STUDY . . . In "A Study of Wine," you'll explore the history of the wine-growing areas of the world and understand how to order and buy wines in wine shops and restaurants and directly from suppliers. RECOGNITION . . . The American Cancer Society recently presented its Excalibur Award to the Fresh Choice restaurant chain, recognizing more than $11,000 in contributions last year. The award is given to donors--individuals, corporations and foundations--that contribute $10,000 or more in a calender year. Locally, there's a Fresh Choice at the Stanford Shopping Center.
