Los Altos resident Alva Henderson (pictured) will conduct excerpts from his new opera, "Nosferatu," at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at the main hall of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, 505 E. Charleston Road, Palo Alto. The opera "Nosferatu" is based on the classic F.W. Murnau silent film of the same name; a telling of the vampire myth. Tickets are $12 adult; $10 student and senior. Tickets are available at the door.
