David Charles Ashby, a resident of Los Altos, died Dec. 25. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. at Holbrook-Palmer Park, Jennings Pavilion, 150 Watkins Ave., Atherton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sierra Club or the Ronald McDonald House.
Joanne Dodge Bliss, a longtime resident of Menlo Park, died Jan. 5. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 330 Ravenswood Ave., Menlo Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a hospice, child and family institute or cancer research.
Earl F. Schmidt, Jr., a resident of Los Altos, died Dec. 29. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at Christ Church, 815 Portola Road, Portola Valley. Memorial donations may be made to the Skyline council of the Boy Scouts of America.
